Assistant Director College of Music and Fine Arts Admission

Thank you for your interest in Loyola University New Orleans! As a recent graduate, I can say with confidence that an academic career at Loyola will afford you countless opportunities regardless of your major or past experiences. You may find yourself canoeing down bayous tracking aquatic life, discussing poetry with world-renowned novelists at the historic Columns Hotel, or performing alongside the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra at Mahalia Jackson Theatre. The culture of New Orleans is as dynamic as it is vibrant, and we invite you to join our diverse community and fall in love with our city.

My advice to new students is to let your undergraduate career lead you down a path of exploration and discovery. As my hero Mark Twain so eloquently put it: "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
