As a native New Orleanian, Loyola has always been a part of my life in one way or another. From visiting the beautiful Uptown campus on field trips to being taught by Loyola graduates, I have always been impressed by this university.
I chose Loyola not only because of its reputation in New Orleans but because of the commitment to educating the whole person. I knew that a Loyola education would not only equip me with the knowledge I needed to excel, but also give me a deeper understanding of the world around me. Loyola's Jesuit education truly stresses the importance of thinking critically and serving others. Here at Loyola, it is not enough to just "know," but you will also learn to "do."
I am excited to share Loyola's story with prospective students across the country! My advice to prospective students is to embrace Loyola’s location! Loyola is in such a unique place. Step off campus sometime and explore the history, culture, and—most importantly— the food of New Orleans. Come see for yourself why you should be part of the 'pack!
