Roberta Kaskel joined Loyola as the Director of the Career Development Center in 2007. Previously she worked as a consultant with the university to restructure the Center as a full service career center with emphasis on the infusion of vocational discernment in the career planning process and students’ post-graduation success. Ms. Kaskel brings 30 years of experience in higher education administration to Loyola, having performed roles in enrollment management, academic advising and internship development, and career development for both undergraduate and professional programs. She has conducted advanced research in two areas of career development – the integration of academic and career decision-making models and women’s career self-efficacy. She served on the Maryland Commission for Women, as chair of the Maryland Chapter of the American Council on Education Office of Women in Higher Education Advancement Programs, and on the board of the National Association of Law Placement.
