Campus Visit Tuition Credit
Because the best way to experience what makes our community unique is by experiencing it for yourself, Loyola is offering a $1,000 credit toward the cost of tuition for enrolling students who visit campus before May 1, 2010!
Requirements
This one-time award is made available to students who are:
- Enrolling at Loyola University New Orleans in the fall of 2010 for the first time.
- Entering as either a freshman or transfer student.
- Enrolling as a full time student in a traditional degree program.
- Enrolling as a degree-seeking student.
- Visiting by May 1, 2010, through an Office of Admissions-sponsored visit program.*
Enrolling students receiving an employee benefit or FACHEX tuition remission are not eligible.
Admissions-sponsored visits include:
- Individual visit day with a campus tour and admissions interview
- President’s Open House
- College of Music and Fine Arts audition days
- Jazz Brunch Open House
Benefits and notes:
- A one-time $1,000 credit to be applied to tuition charges, payable $500.00 each toward the fall 2010 and spring 2011 terms.
- The credit will cause all financial aid awards to be reviewed and possibly amended.
- The credit does not have a cash value.
- The credit, when added to any merit scholarships, cannot exceed the cost of tuition charges.

Campus tours, conducted by student tour guides, are held Mondays - Fridays at 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and on designated Saturdays. Private tours are available at other times by appointment.
Simply call 1-800-4-LOYOLA or fill out our online form at least two weeks in advance to schedule a visit tailored to your specific interests. A complete visit includes observing a class in a subject area of your choice, and meeting with a faculty member, all based upon availability.
