International Students Requirements
To be considered for undergraduate admission, an international student
must:
- complete and submit an Application for Admission.
- submit to the Office of Admissions two official copies of transcripts from each college or university attended. These should be sent as soon as possible. Upon completion of the current semester, send a follow-up transcript. The high school transcript is required if the applicant has less than 30 hours of transfer work.
- have a letter of recommendation written by a teacher, counselor or employer.
- compose a personal statement of 300 words or less detailing your reasons for wishing to transfer to Loyola and what factors influenced your choice to apply. Please note that this essay will be used as an important document in scholarship consideration.
- submit a résumé displaying significant community involvement and demonstrated leadership abilities.
In addition to meeting the above requirements, all international applicants:
- must submit results of the TOEFL.
- requiring F-1 or J-1 visas must submit an affidavit
of support.
The deadline for application and supporting documents is July 1 for the fall semester and November 1 for the spring semester
