Biography
Your first year of college is one of the most transformative times in your life. You will be exposed to new ideas, form long-lasting friendships, and have experiences that are now outside of your imagination. You will also have to wash your own clothes.
My advice: find balance. Spend time studying because your courses will be challenging, but save time to play. Take advantage of the tutors in our Academic Resource Center, but also explore all that the exciting city of New Orleans has to offer. Try exquisite New Orleans cuisine, but spend time in the gym and don't overlook your health.
At Loyola University New Orleans we strive to educate the whole person. We take this seriously. You will have limitless opportunities to grow as an individual through your experiences in college. As you seek balance in this new season of life, my hope is that your college experience will be tremendously rewarding.
