Biography
One of my favorite things to do in New Orleans is to take long walks around the French Quarter. After graduating from Loyola University New Orleans in 2004, I was lucky enough to be able to move to the French Quarter.
There is a certain energy in the French Quarter that is hard to find in any other place in the world. Every season brings a new version of the historic neighborhood. Fall brings in periods of coolness perfect for reading in an outdoor café or courtyard. Winter brings the beautiful holiday decorations and anticipation of the Carnival season. Summer brings in lazy days of strolling along the Mississippi while the ships pass. And spring brings the amazing smells of the fresh flowers blooming in all of the courtyards.
Walking around the French Quarter is like stepping into a new world each time you go. It is full of history and the opportunity to experience something new every time you walk through this amazing part of New Orleans.
