Financial Aid Timeline
December 2007
- The following scholarships have a December 1 deadline:
- Ignatian Scholarship for Academic Excellence
- Business Scholarship for Academic Excellence
- Social Justice Scholarship
- The Loyola Scholarship for Academic Excellence and the Dean's Scholarship for Academic Excellence have a December 1 priority deadline.
- Best consideration for a Drama Scholarship is given to those who audition by December 1.
- Music and Drama audition date: December 1.
- Scholarship interview date: December 1.
- Visual Arts Portfolio Review Day: December 1.
- Begin filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Loyola's FAFSA code is 002016.
January 2008
- Complete the FAFSA as soon as possible after January 1.
February 2008
- Best consideration given if FAFSA is filed by February 15.
- Visual Arts Scholarship deadline: February 16.
- Music and drama audition date: February 16.
- Visual Arts Portfolio Review Day: February 16.
- Academic scholarship notification begins.
March 2008
- Music and Drama audition date: March 1. (Drama audition for admission only.)
- Visual Arts Portfolio Review Day: March 1. (Portfolio review for admission only.)
- Transfer scholarship priority deadline: March 1.
- Process of evaluating applications for need-based aid begins March 1.
- Financial aid packages sent to students in March.
May 2008
- Candidate reply date: May 1.
- FAFSA must be filed by May 1. (supporting documents may be sent by June 20)
